What is Energy Healing?

Energy Healing is a holistic practice that involves changing the energy within and around the body to promote a healthy physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

 

There are many energy healing techniques. At Anaïs Akasha we focus on Reiki, meditation, and sound baths. Energy healing enhances focus as well as reduces stress and anxiety. 

 It also opens you up to a realm of possibilities such as the space to allow for emotional intelligence, better communication and understanding; leading to improved collaboration and relationships.

These techniques are complementary therapeutic and mindfulness practices that can also be used in collaboration with traditional and other holistic therapy.

What is Reiki?

Reiki, simply put is a healing modality where gentle touch is used to influence the central nervous system. This gentle touch assists in slowing down brain activity from 13 to 30 hertz to a calming 4 to 8 hertz (Theta). Theta serves as the bridge between the conscious and subconscious mind, playing a crucial role in nurturing creativity, insight, and overall healing.

As electromagnetic beings with 3.5 trillion volts of electricity flowing through our bodies, connecting with this energy via touch in tandem with slowing the nervous system, initiates the body's natural healing process.

It's not magic! It's science! There is no religious or lifestyle affiliation to the practice. Anyone can use this natural resource for healing!

What is Meditation?

Meditation is the practice that involves focusing the mind and eliminating distractions to achieve a state of mental clarity, relaxation, and heightened awareness. It often includes techniques such as deep breathing and mantras to promote inner peace and a sense of presence.

What is a Sound Bath?

A Sound bath is the strategic use of vibrations and frequencies to restore harmony in the body's energy. These vibrations resonate with the body, encouraging balance and healing.
